Since our grand opening in August 2016, The Memory Center, Richmond our team has provided compassionate care for those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
The Memory Center communities are built around our unique Town Center and Neighborhood concept.
Each neighborhood features a quiet and relaxing living room, small dining room and full kitchen to maintain a sense of home for our residents.
With staff supervision residents can use the kitchen, bake desserts or keep personal items such as their favorite snack or juice.
Each residential room includes a picture frame outside the door which can feature a favorite photo, distinguish the entrance, display their personality and promote identity.
Bedrooms features large windows, a private bath, access to private telephones and wireless internet access. We also encourage residents and their families to bring personal bedroom furnishings, chairs, or special touches from home including CD or MP3 players with their loved ones favorite songs.
Three of the four neighborhoods in our Richmond community are full and the fourth is filling up quickly. If you have been considering residential care for a loved one we encourage you to contact us for more information or to schedule a tour. Even if you aren’t ready to move in, you can submit a deposit and secure a spot on community waiting list.
Planning ahead for Alzheimer’s care, and securing a spot in the right community for your loved one is important. Read our tips on how to evaluate residential facilities, what to look for and when to start planning.
