Philosophy
At The Memory Center, we believe the challenging conditions of an aging brain should be met with a caring, interactive community designed around the individual. It is the philosophy and mission of our community to provide an environment and programs that address the special and fundamental needs of residents experiencing Alzheimer's disease and other related dementia. This includes offering a secured home-like environment, specialized scheduled activities and staffing minimums greater than State requirements for assisted living. We offer every incentive to celebrate life and find purpose in each day.
Community Design
At The Memory Center, we know how important it is to create a comfortable and stimulating environment for our residents living with Alzheimer's and other forms of memory loss. That's why we have taken great care to design our community with every detail of color, texture, lighting and space specifically recommended by the Alzheimer's Association. Our goal is to create an environment that promotes independence and autonomy, while also keeping our residents engaged and socially connected.
Town Center Concept
Our Innovative Town Center design focuses on creating an environment that is both familiar and stimulating. Residents have access to all the comforts of home, while also being able to participate in fun and engaging activities that promote socialization and cognitive stimulation. Our town center includes an ice cream stand, library, movie theater, general store, tavern, and beauty and barber salon.
